DID YOU KNOW?  Do you know the difference between “City of Santa Clarita” and “City of Los Angeles” when it pertains to what it will cost your seller?   There are significant differences in costs for properties located in the City of Los Angeles.  Having the ability to explain these additional costs in advance would provide a great benefit to your seller:—

  • Area covered by these additional costs include all of the City of Los Angeles including most of the San Fernando Valley (City of San Fernando excluded)
  • Transfer Tax is $5.60/thousand vs. $1.10/thousand (big difference!!)
  • Requirement of a Retrofit Inspection + any necessary repairs
  • Requirement of a Building and Safety 9a Application (approx.. $75.00)
